Code p0335 crankshaft position sensor A circuit.

I've replaced the sensor but the code persists.

Vehicle idles and drives in reverse, but cannot drive forward more than a foot before the engine shuts off.

I believe it could be the harness, pcm, or ecu. But have no idea which. I may have to take it to the dealership to find out.

Has anyone had similar issues and may know what the fix could be?

Thanks in advance

You have to have a Tech 2 tool or similar and go through a sensor relearn procedure to sync it up the ECU. Probably need to take it to a dealer or shop the can do it..

Post here in this thread again (but let me know by PM) if you get stuck. I see from one of your earlier posts that you have a 2007. I believe the 2008 schematics and diagnostic procedure I posted in the other thread should be the same. If you find any inconsistencies, let me know and I will post the same for the 2007.

Hello all. I have finally got around to taking my truck to a mechanic. They scanned my truck with the tech 2 tool and discovered it was the cam shaft sensor causing the issue. They replaced the sensor and the problem went away. I was able to drive around my city last night without the engine shutting off!! HOWEVER, when I got in my vehicle this morning, the check engine light was on. I scanned it when I got to my shop with my Mitchell scanner and found the code reads P0121-00 Trottle Position (TP) Sensor Performance. I cleared the codes and rescanned yet the code remains. I called the mechanic about this issue and he said to bring it by and they will try cleaning it. If that doesn't work, I may have to replace the throttle body which could get expensive. I dont know what to do next and I'm getting tired of spending money on this old thing. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

DENTSLAYER, for what it's worth my 2010 truck had to have the throttle body replaced in 2018. The prior owner had it changed, so I'm unaware of the circumstances that led to the swap.
