thx, mlj.  JohnBChef, a member here applied my Gatorback.  Black over 02 chalky white, zebra stripe grey.  its not exactly a colormatch, but 100 times better than the lighter color.  I'm pretty sure he's out of the Gatorback application after the CRGTG.  He did it as a favor to me and 2 other members.  Its an all day/weekend process, but worth the effort to get rid of the fadding. 
 
is he the same guy that painted your upper cladding? If not does anyone know a good place to go and get this done?

yup, same guy.  Are you still under warranty?  GM will have this product applied to yours under warranty if you have fadding issues.  Should be an easy fix by stopping by your dealer to get the process started. 
 
yes i'm still under warranty, only had my truck for 7 months, so no real fading issues yet, will they apply it anyway or does there have to be an actual fading problem.
 
I think they'll go ahead and do it anyway, if they haven't heard of gatorback (my dealer hadn't) they will offer you armor-dillo. politely refuse and contact the gatorback people and they will handle the dealer for you.

the dark grey gatorback looks like a perfect match for your paint. that would be nice (y)

I believe his name is Al? He came with a parrot on his shoulder and he is from the crystal river area. Dune tagged him a couple days before CRGTGII
