You may have noticed over the past few months that the moderators have been placing the "sticky" flag on events (GTGs) that are within 14 or so days of their scheduled date. ?We have done this to help increase visibility of these events for all involved. ?I think it?s definitely helped with awareness of events, but that?s just my opinion. ?Please let us know if you think this is a good thing or not.
What I would ask of anyone posting an event is the following:
1) Include the date of your event in the Subject
2) Include the location of your event including state abbreviation for those who aren't familiar with your area.
Example Subject: Month Day, GTG title, State
3) Some type of summary of the event, links to relevant information, etc if possible in your "Message" when you post the event.
I believe most have been using this format already, for that I thank you all ?

This will help the moderators a great deal in making sure your event gets the recognition it deserves at the top of the list here.
