CT revival! All are welcome

We could do that too. Where abouts?
we are in the process of buying the house we've been renting for a while. If I didnt have most of it ripped apart and a couple semi-agressive dawgies.... I'd offer to do a bbq here. Maybe next summer.

Hey dont worry about the offroading, in fact it wasnt even my idea, Roody was the one that came up with it.

So you're in Canaan, I grew up in SW MA, just north of sheffield, still got family there and visit often. What color is your AV?
Will have to look for it next time I'm down that way.

James, mine is dark grey metallic and rust. lots of rust. you can tell mine right off the bat since not one of the body panels lines up even closely. let me know next time you are in the area, i would love to ceck out your beast
so guys... whats the plans for sunday? i know i know... i can be a real pain.

I know a guy that does a good job at removing the rust and putting on a durable undercoat, only issue is he is in southeast MA. In '08 I had him do my AV, I had rust on my AV after first winter '01-'02 and it just got worse as the years went on, he took all the rust off and sprayed a good layer on. And just this year some areas were bare but need a little touch up.

I'm not sure yet what I'm going to do with it but it will get fixed someday. I have a few off the wall ideas bouncing around in my head haha. Money is always an issue.  :E:
but someday....
Thanks for the info on the coating, i hadn't thought of anything like that

I'm good too for sunday, all we need now is to finalize a time and place. There is an entrance fee for Burr Pond posted on the website but all the times we've been there before nobody was there collecting it. Can't say one way or the other this time. I really don't know a lot about the state past torrington area so I can't make too many suggestions.

Cars & Coffee in Danbury, CT or Yorktown, NY?

Would like to have solid plans by the time I call it a night...

Buddy of mine had straps he ordered for a suburban and they worked on the avy... so I have a few hours free now if its not too late. On a side note, I found out what was clunking in the rear  just a shock bushing gone bad.

I think Roody was heading to C&C, but I think that's over already.  I'm down for a quick meet up but I need to be back home mid to late afternoon to finish up some projects I didn't get to yesterday.

I overslept.  Oops.  How about next Sunday?  I know I'm free all day and could set an alarm like a normal person.  C&C is over in a half hour or so.

I work all next weekend,  12 hour night shift.  :E:

It's almost noon, today may be shot. Maybe a midweek? Something like the sycamore in bethel? There's places all around that have car meets...

Midweeks could work for me, I usually only work 3-4 days a week with every other weekend off. This week I'll be off weds and thurs, work fri sat and sun. It is vacation time at work and there is tons of overtime available and that's very hard to to turn down.

Mid-week would be great.  Hell, if you guys want to come to NY we should meet at the Bear Mtn. Cruise Night, Wednesday around 6 PM.  One of the best car shows there are.

That looks like a great show, but will all depend on the wife. She has doc appts late weds afternoon in Torrington.  She can't drive after her shots so I need to go with her.
