Custom WBH @ Dealer!

That window sticker price does not include the dealer installed options does it? I mean that is a sticker like a normal Avalanche.

that was the only one i saw. they usually have one right next to it with the additional cost. it was not there. it could have fallen off into the passenger seat.

? if i remember i will swing by today and ask what they want for it.
Yes, the add-on sticker seems to be missing. Don't see too many fade paint jobs any more. Seems to have died down in th last few years.

I wonder if it would be possible to give that truck a worse paint job. And I bet they're gonna charge about $5000 for the 'custom paint' and sub-standard mods. Sail panels not sanded? In the rear view you can see red under the tailgate, and behind the cheap fiberglass cladding still red? Plus the faded black to red paint job screams 'Hey, it's 1985 and I have a nifty minitruck!'

Just my opinionated opinion....

Hey wait, I want to see black and red tiger stripes on it..... send it back to the wizards in the paint shop!

No offense, but I still have a problem with the front end on the WBH's. Everytime I see one come up from behind I think it is a silverado. Guess this one must have a heck of a mark-up with all the specials. Still, I will keep with my little Z-66 Blue. LOL

It's not my preference either, but there's always some comprimise to be made. :cautious: BTW, I think with a better quality of work this would be a pretty sharp Av.

I have to echo the comments of XX.

Nice idea to mod a WBH like this, but puh-leeese. Piss poor execution from the word GO.

I also agree with the front of the WBH's I was being tailgated by a sierra club cab 2500 for about 20 miles and I thought the guy was tailgating me because he too was an avalanche WBH guy...but Nooooooooooooooooo

I am still the only known WBH in Marin ;D ;D

That truck is by Choo-Choo customs or something like that. I have seen their 'custom' pickups before. Apparently, there are alot of these because my dealer here in Las Vegas has 2 of these exact same looking packages.

1 is yellow on top and fades to white, and the other is light orange on top and fades to dark orange/red.

Oh, and that sticker is not correct. The price should be around $52,000. That's what the dealer here wants.

hope not to offenc anyone, but when I read that the Choo Choo customs want 52K for this kind of quality....

Looks more like Poo Poo customs.... >:D

just to joke folks....I think its funny....

I'm not 100% sure it's Choo-Choo, but it is one of those types of companies. I just can't put my finger on the name of the company. I do know that they have other conversion pick-ups out there.

Saw a similar looking one in Vegas, but with orange, not red....wonder if it's some dealer-ordered custom?? I didn't get close enough to see if they sanded the sails, tho it did look like they did as the entire unit was shiny! They do look pretty, tho!

Can you get any pics of those, especially the orange/dark orange/red one?

$52K. that's a lot of money.

went back to the dealer to look for the price on the truck. it was not there. most of their trucks were gone. they were having some off-site sale. not sure where.

? they brought the WBH back from the sale. ?here is what i found out. ?it is a Southern Comfort custom job. ?according the pic in my earlier post it is the "Ultimate" version of their customs.
? get this. ?the "add on's" ?sticker was there today. ?can you say $48,999? ?get the hell out of here!! ?i would get an EXT before i paid that kinda of money for an AV.

The reality is that someone will actually wind up buying it for that much or pretty close to it. It is amazing what some people are willing to spend.
