Dash Issue On My '02

I'm not sure if anyone else has this problem - but on the top of my dash - if I get the smallest nick, it's like the top tan coating comes off and there is some black coating beneath that exposed (and it ain't pretty). Is there anything I can do for this - short of replacing the dash?

What is happening is you are scratching off the paint used to color the vinyl underneath.....which is black

it`s either the cover.or stay up till 3am and get the vinyl repair kit for $19.99..........if you`re the first 30 callers its 2 for $29.99,

PS....there is paint for this....prob ably be a spray can...but ya could spray into a cap...and then use small brush to apply it....
