2010 Avalanche with 84k...
Had a fuel tank strap break so I ordered new straps, fuel pump and pick up. I let AV sit for ten days while waiting for OEM parts to come in. Went to start and battery was completely dead. Replaced with new Exide battery and had the straps and fuel pump replaced by mechanic that I've had for 25 years. On way over to shop my service suspension system light came on. I cleared it and it would still come on intermittently. Now the AV has been sitting exactly 5 days and battery was just barely strong enough to have interior lights come on and wouldn't start. AV has never done this before. AV is in very good condition so any help would be appreciated

I'm going to assume you have a pretty serious battery drain going on.

Time to learn the troubleshooting procedures to locate such a drain.

Also, I can assume since you were having to replace fuel tank straps, you live in a rust prone area.

Looks like it's time to locate and verify all of the many ground points on the truck.

There are several on the underside of the truck.

Thanks for the reply. How do I find where all the ground connections are or do I have to visually locate ?
