I had true duals installed 3 days ago with Flowmaster 40 series. Last night my baby left me dead at an intersection. She turns over, idles roughly for a few secs and then dies. I'm hoping nothing is related, but....I'll keep ya' posted. Hope the pic isn't too offensive to members of this site. lol

could a moderator yank that attached picture before some F**d club guy comes and swipes it and starts passing it around? ;)

Hope everything gets fixed and it's something simple. :B:

P.S. on the way home from STI yesterday I saw a beater ford towing a dead Ranger with another beater ford following. Had to laugh. Guessing the third one was just in case the tow vehicle had problems, LOL. Wish I got a pic.

who installed......I wonder if they knocked something loose?

No idiot light cam on to warn of impending doom with some electrical engine sensor or something? Ie code light?

I am currently fixing a blazer 200 miles away...it needs fuel pump/sensor tank assembly.....(WAY WAY WAY out of warranty)....$400 beans....arggggggggg..mod money down the drain...

Good luck

and say the picture is you hauling it to a car show or something as you want low mileage......hehehe

I doubt the battery was disconnected...Is this required for the computer to recognize the difference??? Never thought of it. Thank for any help.

The message center light just showed me the battery....

Was any welding done during the installation?

I was under the impression that wee could not run true duals on our trucks... Someone please correct me.

I though it had something to do with the lack of back pressure with duals.

not "could not", but some people argue "should not" for the backpressure reason you state. I did hear some true duals this weekend and they sound sweet.

Found out my fuel pump shut down on me....I'm really happy I have an extended warranty. Warranty went out 2000 miles ago. 700 bucks to fix! Thanks for all the support!! Sorry again about the pic, it is embarrassing :-[

The true duals do sound awesome!!!

For me that's a years mod money ;)

$ 700 bucks :C: That sounds VERY HIGH $$--Part is 389.98 & 3.3 hrs of labor - what was the Dealerships hourly rate $ 100 an hour ?--
