Decision on Tires

I am purchasing Akuza rims which are 20 X 9. Most places recommend 285/50/20. I would prefer to get 305/50/20 being there are more tires to choose from, but will I have any problems. Any info would be great. Thanks

Split the difference and get 295/50/20's. I like my 275/55/20 Eagle ls's personally. Very good tire IMO. They are as tall as a 305 just an inch narrower and I wouldn't want them any wider.

im running 305/50/20 eagle GTIIs on jesse james .357 looks and rides great.i had a slight rub when making hard turns but a little trimming and all is well.

I have the Goodyear Eagle GTII's 285/50/20's and they are plenty wide.

Thanks for the info. I decided to go with nitto nt-404 in a 295/50/20 on 20" akuza rewind wheels. Sorry, forgot to mention I am new to the board, just purchased 04 av z71. I will post some pics when on.
