Defroster Time Too Short

My defroster only works for 5 min. This is too short (especially for Chicago). Is there any way to increase the shut off time to 10 min?
 
I'm not sure, but can't you just turn it back on. 5 minutes does seem short though. I thought mine stayed on for about 10 - 15 minutes. I'll have to look in the manuel.
