All we did was swim in the pool, did a little BBQing and tried to get through the madness traffic to see the fireworks. Overall pretty good weekend.

Yep, just sat around the house, BBQing and sat in the front yard and watch the fireworks. Also we were lighting a few fireworks but got caught by the smoke police >:D so we had to quit. All in all a good day.

Yes, not to bad. Went to Eufala and fought crowds of people, heat, and bugs. Just sat around with my wife and my 2 year old watching the fireworks. I love long weekends!

Yeah they were running around telling everyone how much the fine was. All in all still people did fireworks. ;D

I worked Saturday and Today.. but had a nice quiet day and dinner with the missus..... very nice (y)

Yeah. We left SLO Thursday for Lake Tahoe for a family reunion, and returned today. We took our motorhome and left the Av behind. :-(

I entertained myself by looking for Avs and EXTs on the road. Among others, there was a nice pearl EXT parked across the street from the reunion, and an Av pulling a trailer/float of some sort in the Truckee 4th of July Parade on Sunday. I have a pic of it still in the camera.

We left Tahoe at 8 am this morning (Monday) stopped at a relative's house on the way home for less than an hour, and made it back home at 5 PM.

Traffic on I5 was heavy but moved smoothly minus one accident south of Stockton.

Traffic headed east out of our county on 46 at 4PM, (as we were headed in) was really bad, about 5 miles of 2 lane dead slow bumper to bumper just past the intersection of 46 and 101.

We had a great GTG out our way! We had a MIDNIGHT PARADE and boy was that a trip! It was kind of like a all of the taverns just closed so the folks stayed in town for the parade! 2 hours + of party people! They were spilling into the streets and looking into the Avalanches etc. We got home dead tired around 3AM. on the 4th and then did the cookout with the group at 1PM on the 4th.

Stayed home and watched the fireworks from here, I don't work until July 20 so avoid the rush usually. I lit off a bunch of fountain fireworks that are legal but cops around here don't bother unless you blow up a car, house or person and then only if someone is willing to wait a few hours to file a complaint.

Sure did. Went to the Marlins game, got back about 645pm, went across the street to a neighbor's h0me for some BBQ and pool action. Drank a beer or two...hehe

The only thing missing was Mrs. Ghost, who is up in Connecticut with her mom for a couple of weeks....

I got sick. :-[ :9: :6: Figures, I get a three day weekend and I catch a cold... I am still not feeling good so, at least I get an extra day out of work! >:D

Took a road trip to place flowers on Mom and Pop's grave site in NE Pa saw a lot of Avalanches on the Pa Turnkpike NE Exten. going south and no AMBERS went all the way to the end through Clarks Summit on Rt 6 then Rt 11 to Milwaukee Pa nice ride there and back
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Butch

Sounds like you must still be napping. ;D

Been in Colorado since 7/3. Trout fished, downed some cold ones, and watched the fireworks in Buena Vista. It was a good show, even though the temp was in the fifties. Will post vacation pics later as I am in catch up mode at work. I might be able to be at the GTG 7/24. Will let you know.

Welcome back. Sounds like yall have been busy with the race at Texas Motor Speedway and going to Colorado and all.
