Diesel Avalanche now possible

I just got my newest Four Wheeler magazine in today and there is an article in it about a guy in Wauseon, OH making a Diesel Suburban. Well at the very end of the article it talks about him having plans to retrofit one into the Avalanche. It says he will even take orders for one too. Someone has finally answered the call.

Which issue of Four Wheeler is it. I would love to get a diesel engine. Does it say what kind of diesel he is getting? Cummins? Duramax?

The guy actually made the truck from "a 02 Duramaz Drivetrain, bare 02 Avalanche chassis and a complete 02 Suburban 1500 body. It is the Duramax from the Silverados. He installed a body lift to clear the Allison transmission.

It the Four Wheeler w/ the Green Avalanche on the front. Page 24-26.

Yeah, I read that article, it was GREAT. I think it would be awesome if they put a diesel in the Avalanche; it would be ideal!
