Does Anyone Know What This Sound Could Be?

My 2005 Chevy avalanche has started to produce this noise when my truck is under Torque. Happens usually when I go from a complete stop. The noise goes away once I'm going a steady speed. The sound doesn't happen when in neutral. The noise vanished for about a month, but now it has returned and I can't think of anything under these conditions that could cause this sound. Thanks

The sound bit seems short to tell what noise was, fluid level in transmission important to verify. Is yours 4x4? My avalanche had drivers tire rub frame & wiring bundle left turns, I went back to standard tires. The 285/70/r17 previous owner used lil big even with 4in body lift. I reverted tires to 265/70r17 AT tires to not worry about it.
Hoping it's not internal transmission damage good luck.

Have you crawled underneath to check things out?

Not sure what noise is but has sheet metal sound like exhaust heat shields

Check your U joints for any signs of wear or lubrication breakdown.
(If you can see rust stains in the vicinity of any u joint it means the lube is gone and that the joint is toast)
The good news is that replacement of the U joints is cheap and easy to do.
I did all of mine using a stout block of wood, a couple of sockets and a big hammer 👍

Oh yeah, I'm assuming your truck is in 2wd mode during this period of time?
If so then your CV shafts are probably ok and not the issue, since you stated that the problem occurs only under load.

I would add to check your engine and transmission mounts, maybe exhaust attachments. I'm picturing the drivetrain wanting to twist a little under torque load.
