Door noise when closing

Does the roller bearing spin? It freezes up over time. The door shouldn't just slide on top of the bearing, the bearing should spin with every door open/close. See your passenger side for reference. I've had to pry up and then down on the bearing to break it free, and then spray lube and open and close the door many many time and keep spraying until no more rust/gunk comes out. Then the roller bearing works for a few months and starts making the noise again. Once it's moving a bit, a quick spray makes it go away for a while again. You can also replace the hinge kit.

Your hinge is bad, mine started doing the same thing at about 200K miles and a gazillion door open and closes.

Had to replace the hinge..

If your door is sagging, its the hinge. If not, it's the detent roller being worn out, perhaps with a flat spot.

I had this problem when I bought my 2012, started as a pop, and at one point completely locked my door into the open position until I hulked smashed it one day. Dorman makes a replacement (with a zerk so you can lube it and this shouldn't happen again):

I generally followed this video, though he put the roller on upside down and didn't hammer the pin in all the way so the detent arm thing is sitting on what should be the lip that sits below it. I typed up a big long comment correcting that, but looks like he deleted my comment, nice. Anyways, getting the old pin out is a real PITA if you leave the door on, I would probably just remove it if I had to do it again.
