Driver side rear seat won't fold, latch appears jammed.

Hello. Up until tonight, the seat mechanism to fold everything up so I can lower the midgate has been functioning flawlessly, however tonight, when I pull on the driver side strap, nothing happens, when I feel under for the latch, I can feel it clamped around the bar and not releasing. with a tiny amount of motion detectable when I try to pull on the strap. I read somewhere that the latch could be released with a screwdriver, but I cannot seem to get one of mine at the proper angle to get leverage. Is there any way to fix this without taking it into the shop?

Problem solved, for now. The thing that appears to make my situation unique is that the anchor bar for the latch under the middle seat is loose, this caused the latch to miss that bar when the seat was last put down, causing the jam by way of trying to press against that bar as the one behind the driver's seat is attempting to release. We managed to get it to release by lifting up the middle seat portion before pulling on the strap again. The bolt portion of the bar appears to require a torx head in order to do anything with it and none of mine are big enough. I will try to give a final conclusion to this if I don't forget about the thread between now and when I get the proper tool.
