Dry Ice Method removing dings dents

Does anyone know what the "dry ice method" of removing dings is? Sorry couldn't find it in the search.

I have three hail dings on my hood I think can be popped out.

I have used an ice cube and a hair dryer on my harley and it took the dent right out with no damage to the paint. That is unless the paint was already damaged. Good luck.
