Dual exhaust in place of trailer hitch?

I'm curious if anybody has done this or has any pics.  It's time for a full exhaust upgrade and I think it would look clean and bad ass to have a set of flat style exhaust tips under where the hitch is normally located.  I'm thinking of completely removing it as well as the entire spare tire and winch assembly.  Thoughts?

:B:

May be just the old geezer in me but it seems like that mod may look nice but would be expensive, possibly affect performance and definitely would cost you the loss of towing ability and spare tire storage.....
What would you do if you ever wanted to tow something?
What would you do if you ever have a flat tire?
Where would you store the spare tire? Loosing bed storage or put it on a roof rack? Or just cross your fingers and hope you never have a flat tire? Are you the only driver or would a wife or child be driving the AV too and they could get stranded?

Again the old geezer in me would say "why try and reinvent the wheel?" when plenty of exhaust companies have already done the fitting, performance testing, and other things to market a good quality warranted CAT back system such as CORSA or Magnaflow.....with them you get lifetime warranty, good sound and great performance. You also keep your ability to change a tire in an emergency or tow something.

I would not remove the hitch or the spare (in the interest of full disclosure, I do not carry a spare).
A custom exhaust shop (I just installed a dual Magna Flow system on my 2500) can install mufflers and tail pipes in almost any configuration you can afford.

Allright EagleAV you've convinced me.  Though I do have a 2011 sheer silver metallic to take care of the roles of towing when needed as my 2010 is mostly a city driver only.  In the event of a flat with all the salt and corrosion from our roads I'm not sure I would even be able to bring the spare down in an emergency without a blow torch and a grinder.  I'm just looking to clean up the back end of my truck a bit but may go with a Corsa or Magnaflow catback in a typical configuration at this point so nothing ridiculous has to be engineered.
