Hey! I'm  new here and am about pick up my '07 LTZ in about a week!! I want to put on a corsa sport exhaust but I'm hoping for a dual side exit. Is there a system like this out yet? or will I have to take it to a shop for a custom system? Thanks!

ive seen some southern comfort conversion that are have duel exhaust tips left and right side

the main problem on the older ones was the spare tire is in the way, not sure if this is a issue on the 07's, but I'd imagine so

If the shop is any good they can get around it, and still function and sound great..

I have Dual exhaust, pipes out the side. Wasn't any problems with the spare tire at all.  Took them a few times of fitting and bending the pipes, but otherwise it was fine.

out 1 side or both?

WHAT DO I DO!?!?! I really want the corsa sport system, but its only the single side exit. I REALLY want the dual side exit (both sides). I was told though that the corsa system was made so that all of the pipes and pieces are needed to acheive the best performance. I'm worried if I get the system and get it customed to my '07 then it would mess up some performance...

Should I get the system and have it customized?

                              or

Do I wait and see if corsa (or magnaflow, gibson) come out with a dual exit system?

Please HELP! :E:

I installed a Gibson Sport (dual same side) exhaust on my 2002 in my driveway in about an hour. They have a dual side exhaust (Extreme Dual Exhaust) shown on their website for the 2007. I imagine it would also be fairly quick and easy.

I had the dual same side system on my '99 expedition and as much as I do love it, I wanted something a little louder. I wold the extreme dual be louder?

:::sigh::: so many decsions to make. ???

I have to throw this in. I made 1/2 of a mistake about the Gibson exhaust. The web site says it's for the two wheel drive '07 Avalanche 1500 only and I didn't think to ask you if you were getting a 2WD OR 4WD Avalanche. As far as it being louder, I'd ask Gibson. They should know how loud their exhaust is.

I have the Magnaflow. exiting out behind each rear tire. Sounds great! I asked the guy who did the exhaust what the difference was between the cat back kits and the custom job he was doing and he said the only difference was that his would fit better.

Thanks, Diamond Pete, how was the performance difference on the magnaflow systems?  I'm leaning for the corsa  system because I heard that they give a hell-of-a jump in performance.

...its a tough decison.

thanks for the welcom SupaDave, and I'll have pics up as soon as I can make up my friggin' mind. :E:

I don't think any exhaust would give that much of a performance boost at all.  Nothing that you're going to notice.  The only real way to really notice power is with forced induction...or a lot of engine mods.  An exhaust is more for the sound IMO.  You won't notice power increases.

By the way, I have a Flowmaster Super 40 and I love it.  :B:
