DVD Installation in a 03 Avalanche??

Hello General Motor Fans! I was wondering if anyone has installed a Indash DVD in the lower pocket of there console? The pocket right above the cup holders. If so, plz post some pics or send me a couple to bclowrider99@yahoo.com.

That's tight! Know anyone has the dvd in the lower pocket? I have the 6-disk indash deck w/XM and Onstar. I really don't want to loose these options.

ChevyV8man, we use the Audiovox AVD300 unit and it will fit like a glove where you are trying to put it!!

Or better yet, could you guys post some pics of your dvd player location? I'm trying to get some ideas here.

Yep! I have one - You have XM, so things are a bit easier. Put a switch in a favorite place and have AUX jacks in the back too. Tap into the XM audio lines. Just select the DVD when the radio is in the XM modes 1 or 2.
BTW, make sure you get a DVD player with memory, it's a pain to search back where it was every time you interupt the power or restart your truck! I replaced mine with one that has the memory; things are soooo much better and it has front AV RCA jacks too!
