Dye for Cloth Seats?

I have an '02 with the charcoal cloth interior, and would like to dye the "patterned" section of the seats and headrests to a darker color......probably black.

Has anyone done this, or has anyone have any experience with dyeing cloth interiors? Is this doable? How hard would it be....seems it would be fairly straightforward.

Any product recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I would be worried the dye would eventually come off on your pants. It might be worth a try to find an upolstery shop that could recover the entire seat the way you wanted.
