REGISTRATION FEES $35 per AV

Richard and I have had alot of people asking about registration prices for the East Coast Regional Meet. ?I have some good news and some bad news. ?I will also let you choose which is good and which is bad >:D ?

The East Coast Regional Meet is in Pigeon Forge for a couple of reasons. ?It was voted on, and it was a perfect place for some family fun with almost everything you can imagine to do. ?We are not trying to plan this meet to be anything at all like the national meet for several reasons as well. ?First and foremost, most people can not afford to go to two large expensive time consuming meets. ?Secondly for the people that are going to both, they will be different and not seem like the same thing. ?This Regional meet will offer many activites that you can't possibly do all in 3 days. ?These activites will be for you and your family or you and whatever group you want to hang out with. ?You will be responsible for paying for these yourself. ?We will ?be using the time on Saturday from 8am to 4pm to dedicate to the cruise to Cherokee Mountain and the activites up there (Harah's Casino, Museums, Nature exhibits, outdoor shows, water park for the kids)

The registration fees we will charge will only be to recover expenses we encounter in planning and providing for this event. ?Some of these items are the Ballroom for our first meeting and welcome, the small meeting rooms for registration and storage of supplies, the "drinks" and munchies for our Friday Night social hour (s). ?Also you will be getting a book put together by PlanetAV and his staff that will have information about the area, $100's of dollars worth of coupons and discounts, and whatever else he puts in there to supprise us. ?He has also put together a name badge that will be the talk of the meet. ?This badge is a magnet and can be used at future meets as well as your local cruises. ?

With all that said, the registration fee will be no less than $25 per AV and no more that $50 per AV. ?Why the price difference? ?Why don't I have a price nailed down? ?As we stated before, we are waiting on some key sponsors to help us out. ?The more $$ we get from them, the lower the registration fee will go. ?

I hope this helps some of you in your decision to go ahead and reserve a room. ?If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

Worn out,

That sounds like a great deal to me. ?Will we need to pay in advance? ?
I am letting Richard figure that out. The last time we talked, we were thinking it would be better for everyone if you payed at the registration table. Your namebadge you get would be your receipt >:D

JUST AN UPDATE:

Waiting to see what we can do from Zaino com. and few others to finalize this.. I know we are getting real close but it's not like the registration fees will kill us all.

So this will also be a VOTE:

A. Registration FEES can be paid at time of check in

OR

B. Pay now(once it's set up) either way.

Will keep ya'll posted. A lot of you have been such a great help and AGAIN THANK YOU for making it happen for us all.

With your Dedication and LOVE. >:D This could not have gone this far. OH BTW yes you Too WIKI. ;)

Lets keep this simple. Pay when you register at the hotel. That way there is no question as to if someone payed or not, and that way you won't have to deal with refunds for people who could not make it at the last minute. Richard has the $$ amount for registration and will be posting it soon. It is VERY low compared to the Nationals, and we request that people pay in cash. There are several things we need to pay for in Pigeon Forge and cash goes a long way toward paying stuff off. Richard will be bringing a receipt book for those who need receipts.

Don't forget not everyone is staying at the hotel. It seems like I'm the only one camping, but there might be others not staying at the hotel...

We still need everyone to come by the hotel and register for the meet. This is where you will be getting your nametag and your ECRM Book. In this book will be the times and schedule of events.

Hey Planetav

Keeping each members ECR expense under control was your goal from the start. Now we can see your hard work is paying off. Those name tags are SHARP as well
as reuseable at local chapter GTG's. :B: :B: :B: THANKS RICHARD

I might be able to get the registration fee down even lower, but will not know until next week. $35 is an incredible deal for what you guys/gals are going to get back. Trust us, you are going to have a great time and get some cool stuff.
