I wanted to send a belated thank you to ecparks for the help on his (and others?) Z71 mod.
This was the mod of applying the Z71 badges used on Tahoes and "Burbs to the "C" pillar behind the rear doors in place of the Z71 decals on the fenders.
Looks great and I get a lot of compliments!

Wassup...

My "Burban" Z-71 emblems arrived yesterday. I took off the red stickers that were on the fenders. I plan on washing the AV and installing the new badges today. (y)

I also installed my Silverado cup holder in the AV. That cupholder should be stock. ;)

Later on, I am off to find smoked plexi glass and install the Got_change sail windows. ;D

Hey Guys the z71 emblems look great ! I had to order them up just now. Do they come with an adhesive allready on them? If not what should I use to attach them ? Thanx for the help...........
 
Anybody have both types of Z-71 decals on their Av, or is that overkill?

Also, is there a way to order Av Z-71 original decals in different colors than the ones that came on your Av?

As far as I know, the Z66/Z71decals come in only 2 colors. All AVs come with the silver/grey decal and the light pewter metallic is the only one that comes with the red decal. I have heard from other LPM owners that they didn't really like the red decals on theirs.

I didn't like the silver decal for my indigo blue--so I changed it to red. Attached is a pic....

But it would be cool if the decals came in other colors as well.

I did this change and went from red to the standard issue ( on tother av;s) gray Z-66 sticker. I love the new look- Low Profile is all I can say.

Check out my photo page listed below. I changed to a flag bow tie and flag Z-71 decals. It looks great on a blue Av and I've been asked if it's a right from the factory special edition !
