Alright ya'll, check this out!

Here I am going to my rented cabin at Big Bear in SOCAL this weekend for the X-terra Triathalon...It was a fully loaded Av for the weekend as well as an additional passenger in the back seat. Big Bear is at about 7500 feet, so going up the mountain I went ahead and kicked it into Tow/Haul mode for the final 5,000 feet uphill. Made it into town no problem, but here is where it gets interesting. The next morning I start the mighty Av up and I get this sound from the engine compartment, sounds like a pump...lasts about 3 seconds and it did this about 5 times and then it stopped with about 8 seconds in between each pump sound thingy..... I freaked out! It sounded like my cell was on vibrate on the dash or something. Then I realized, the truck must be making some adjustments for the high altitude. This was confirmed again this morning as it did the exact same thing at the exact same interval. Am I right in assuming the truck was making some sort of adjustment for the high alititude and has anyone else had this happen to them!
