Enid mini GTG

The date is not set as of yet, due to Lord Bling (BensonRacing) winning the $30 gift certificate at Tops and Stripes it has triggered a mini GTG, hopefully with a good turn out. We are trying to get Tops and Stripes to sponsor our chapter, so a good turn out would be great. After the meet up there, we can all cruise the big town of Enid, over to my place to hold a first ever OK AV BBQ (not roasting the AV). I have a 16 x 32 size pool, its 8 ft deep in the deep end and 3 1/2 ft in the shallow, so good size. I will leave the date up to Benson with him wanting to use the gift certificate. So, now the question is who is interested in coming to Enid? (It will have to be after the 23rd of this month I will be in Nevada) Talk at yall later

Gonna check with Tops tomorrow or thursday. What was that guys name again. I think Tim told me, but, I forgot. Oops! See if they can get a couple things and try to pick them up at the end of this month.

Ask to talk to David, he is the owner. Just tell him you won the gife certificate and that you know me.

It's drained. Rocks fell into the pond (100 lb'ers) and poked a hole in the liner. Gonna have to let the water under the liner evaporate, pull out the rocks, find and then fix the liner leak. Then redo the stream and fill back up. Then the hard part, paying for those expensive Carp to put back in it.... I had a pic somewhere before the rocks fell in...... But, it is getting the time of year where I can work on that, jump in the pool, and then go back and forth until it is done.....
 
Looks like this might end up being a great turn out. I hope to have the other two AVers out here in Enid on board by then.

OK, Dean its time me and you start hounding these two. ;D

Maybe we should make up some kind of flyer before a GTG to add to the tagging handout. A handout that has some info on where it will be that kind of thing. What ya think?

Ok, I talked to David today and he said that my parts are easy to get and he can have in a few days. So, I was thinking June 26th. Tim will be back from vacation and it will be the weekend before the 4th. What ya think?

Sounds OK with me, although my schedule changes often so I would have to wait and see. With that said as long as I am able to attend you know that I will be there.

Benson, did David take care of you OK? I always worry when I recommend someone.

Rigth now I am working that Saturday night.... I am trying to get out of it though......

The 26th of June. Don't have a specific time yet. I will post in here to find out specifics, just check back often. Either me, dprg or Benson will Private Message (PM) everyone with the specifics about the GTG.

By the way, welcome to the club and the OK chapter. You must have either been tagged by Stiles-Z71 or know him. If not what a coincidence to have two from Tecumseh in a week. Anyways, welcome and if you have any questions just PM me and I will be glad to help. ;D
