Escalade Tailgate on AV

I'd like to put my company logo on the tailgate of my AV, but with all of the cladding and raised lettering it doesn't fit. So I thought I'd see about installing the Escalade Tailgate. Does anybody know if this is possible? If so, is it a direct swap? Part numbers?

I'm not sure if it will fit, but I think I remember someone mentioning that it will require some body work because there are several slight differences between the rear ends of the 2 vehicles. But then again I don't have an EXT (wish I did) so I'm not sure. I wouldn't mind doing this if it does work. I like the clean look w/o the raised lettering, but I'd want to keep the cladding. I've actaully thought of shaving the lettering down, but I've never mentioned it.

I am not sure about the tailgate but i do know that the taillights are about 1" shorter! To look at them ytou would think they are the same so take a tape with you.

I'm going over to the dealership later this afternoon and will pull up next to an EXT to check it out. If it works I'll look for a tailgate assembly in a junk yard off of a wrecked one. Who knows I just might find one. I'll let you guys know what I find.

Look into shaving it down, it will probably be cheaper. Shave it down, and Re-Paint the Tailgate.

How about this idea....

Since the part of the tailgate with the raised lettering is actually just a skin, perhaps you can remove that and put the Escalade skin on in it's place. You'd retain the majority of your own tailgate saving money. If you read the thread about installing a remote lock on the tailgate, you'll see the skin is held on by double-sided tape--a lot of it, so it'll take HOURS to remove.

Well after reading these other posts...I guess shaving isn't a good idea.

Can you replace the piece and keep the AV rear handle and bezel as well as the lower cladding?
