Greetings all
Just installed EXAXT tie rods, center link and pitman bracket.
The kit also had MOOG idle & pitman arm joints.

Although the kit was made for a non lifted 1500 there was some modification required to go with the RCD kit on the truck.

Sway bar was inverted, spacers installed and sway bark link rods shorten from 9 inch to 5 inch.

The truck handles like no other 1500 Avalanche and has instant steering feed back and no slack in the steering whell at all.

Pics are too large 500mb and 1.5 mb seeking assistance to get them posted.

put pics in CAFCNA album...

Thanks for the directions...the pics appeared in latest additions.

Check out that center link...waiting are RCD to confirm billet sway bar link rods they have 5 inch to replace the standard 9 inch that the RCD kit came with.

Any comments on the inverting the sway bar scenerio.

Sure handles sharp.

I know exactly what you mean...feels like a completely different truck.? Enjoy your new found responsiveness  (y)

My RockKrawler lift came with new steering linkage that eliminates all slack and gives immediate response as well.? Check it out...

Dont know why lift kits dont come with the extra linkage.

Have you changed out your pitman & idle arm?

What did you do with the stock sway bar?

Is yours a 1500 or 2500?

The EXAXT centerlink is a solid  round billet  and have been machined to except a steering stablizer later.

Do you run  a stablizer?

Hm.  Can't find the pics you uploaded, Steve! :help:

To qualify, the centerlink was a prototype, but the other parts are used on our 2500 series kit.

Feel free to ask any questions about it, I'll try to answer them as best I can.

Not yet as they were in really good shape.? I've been thinking about buying the Cognito Idler/Pitman kit to give the stockers extra support.

Because the RockKrawler kit is intended to be used for desert pre-runner use the sway bar is removed and not re-used.

Doesn't the stock sway bar attach to the lower control arms??? The center link shouldn't be in the sway bar equation unless it's blocking the links, correct?

Didn't I just answer this.? ;) With converting to the coil-overs the ride has firmed up a bit and the truck drives surprisingly well...there is some initial body roll when turning but it's not very much.

The center link is  a much greater diameter than stock......I was just hi liting the reduced space as far as the shock body...a minor detail which I am sure the intended 7100 Bilstein I plan on using will fit.

See the difference in the coil over suspension as pre dessert runner as far as sans sway bar & stablzer

My truck is used for remote fire roads hauling "real" mountain bikes as in North Shore style.

Sorry never got back to you earlier.

The kit has been in a week and greatly improved the handling.

I doubt there is a stronger center link/tie rod  on the market...real quality machining.
