???I have searched and found nothing on the topic so if it is a repeat I am sorry. Has anyone been able to modify the time that the lights are on when exiting the Av. I have found that the time is just not enough when parking in my garage and having to squeeze around to get to the other side, and right now a larger garage, so I wouldn't have to squeeze, is not an option.

There's an option called Exit lighting under the set-up (the controls on the lower right side of the steering wheel). In there you have your option, I think the standard is 10 seconds.

On the '03 models you can adjust the time from the steering wheel controls. This makes it easier. I believe you can do it without this though. When I was talking to my sales guy, he told me that there is a sequence of things that you have to do when resetting the oil change info if you do not have the steering wheel controls. He said something about hitting the brake pedal while turning the key.. something like that. You should stop by a chevy place and ask a mechanic. I will ask my buddy tomorrow and see what he says. There has to be a way. He also has an '02 and he would know.

Hope this helps; it's from p. 3-53,54 of my owners manual... :B:
