Exposed Under coating

Grr... My pc crashed while I was writing the post.

Ok, let's try this again.

My uncle noticed the undercoating in the rear wheel wells were cracked and the plastic guard behind the wheel wasn't mounted on properly and it was scratching the coating off.

I took the Av to my rep last night. We compared mine to three on the lot. My Av and another red Av had scratched undercoatings. The other two Av's did not b/c thier's had the plastic guard mounted properly and they also had a sponge fabric on top.

My rep told me to bring the truck back in today to show the part dept. The parts and serive dept. was when I went in. He hinted that it was GM's mistake, but didn't say it in so many words.

I want to know if anyone else had this problem and how it was resolved. I am going to pester GM to fix it ASAP as my Av is only three weeks old and already the paint is exposed! I wonder what other mistakes I should look for now....

I do not have this problem....my drain tube is firmly attached and the black gooky uindercoating spray in the rear wheel wells is fine and dandy.....

Good Luck

Taking in my truck tommorow. GM is going to replace the plastic piece and redo the undercoating. It was a factory mistake.
