On my 2013 during a warm day, 90+, My transmission temp runs around 200. The dealer told me that was nothing to worry about. Today I was pulling a trailer and it got up to 230. I think 200 is even too hot. What aux trans cooler will fit on the EXT?

My 2004 EXT came with an aux transmission cooler from the factory.

The transmission temp runs 90 degrees above the outside air temp, year round.

When towing in the heat of summer with the a/c running, it will run 10-20 degrees above that.

If yours does not have an aux trans cooler, I would suggest you get one.

The Tru-Cool - Max LPD47391 47391 Low Pressure Drop Transmission Oil Cooler is one popular one.

It does have a trans cooler in front to the radiator but I think I may need a bigger one.

The factory coolers are on the smaller side, but my 2003 Avalanche does not have even that and the transmission in that truck runs much hotter.

I can tell you, something is sure better than nothing.
