F body electric fan?

Has anyone tried to use the dual electric fan off of the 2000+ F bodies? I believe they are dual 12 inch fans. Any body tried this? I am thinking about it and was wondering if anyone has any input on it. Think it will pull enough air??

Why not use the FLEX fan that others have installed?

I figure I can pic one up much cheaper from E-bay or a junk yard . I also figured that they are pretty good at moving air since they are designed for the high performance LS1's . Why pay $500 if I can put in a $100 to $150 solution, and it's a GM part to boot (not that that really matters)

Good question, I'm looking into this mod as well, but don't have the $$ right now.
