This is probably a stupid question, but does anybody know if there is a way with the factory HU to get a song to repeat? I got too used to this feature with my Sony HU in my Sonoma that now I have to have it. I'm not planning on updating the audio system for a while, but this lack of repeat option will speed up the audio mods!

Thanks.

PS. How do you get the dash unit off? I removed what screws I saw, but there was no budging. What's the secret?

The dash trim was what I was having problems with. My past experience with '95 Suburban, '98 Sonoma, '99 Suburban all had screws to take of the dash. The screws I refered to on the AV were the screws at the bottom of the lower trim (I just started unscrewing anything I could). I really didn't want to go in grippin' and rippin'!

Stupid Question Rephrased : How do you take off the dash trim (around HU, A/C, and guages)?

Chad , all you have to do is pull on the dash bezel start on the upper right corner near the radio, pull on it and it will pop off there are about 7 snaps holding it on, and to get the radio out there are two slide levers on either side and the radio just slides out

Another side note to removing the dash bezel, you will probably need to tilt your steering wheel all the way down, and (with your emergency brake on and AV turned off) put your shifter into low 1. Those two things tend to get in the way of removal and reinstalation.
