Fastest Avalanche list (track times)

yes you guys are right, a person has to dump a lot of money into a gasser to get any power out of them, and they always seem to loose there economy. ? ? ?. . . for Torque art with me. ?. ?. ?. ??"

I was just gonna say "Torque art with me, not you....."

:laugh:

Plus my fuel econmy went up when I added the blower, not down.... Went from 12.5 mpg to 18 mpg....

I should have stopped there though.... all of the other bolt ons have started whittling away on that a bit.... >:D

Your right that the oil burners are easier to "turn up" but I'm willing to line up with your Cummins.


 
you have a very impressive list of extras!  if mine wasnt a manual i'd be game.   i'm sure i could find a friend or 2 that might be up to the challenge.

Just dropped new TR6 plugs in last night.  Going to get the 22's off this weekend and put the 17's back on.  Should be able to get a better time without the weight of the 22's.  Now that I'm home I'll be looking for a track in the area.

lol! You have a lot of potential left., pretty sure mine's as fast as its going to get, i've messed with the timing and a/f ratio and increased the idle speed but i think all that accomplished was giving it more traction problems. my only real hope is that pushing the button that locks o/d out so it doesn't hit 5th gear at half track :E: does something to help.
 
Let's hope not... low 13's on his first pass in a car built from scratch by a 18 year old is pretty stout.... (y)
 
I guess I'll be taking the truck out one more time to take the list, hehe, the truck is at 9psi now, but I did install the power robbing 80e.
I'm at 3.73 gears now too, I bet it pulls better.

Good job on the list, I'm sure it'll grow pretty fast, and in a year or so, I bet we see an 11 sec Avalanche from one of us, that'll be exciting.

:eek: That one looks worse than the one that I broke.  I think that trannyman broke the housing of a G80 in half once.

Be sure to let us know your new numbers and I'll update the list.
