Happy Father's Day to the dad's on here.
If your dad owns an Avalanche, or you do and your kids want to do something for you for Fathers Day? I have found a relatively easy task that is nothing but good for the vehicle: remove the tail lights and shop-vac out all the little pebbles, sand, dirt and whatever other road debris that's accumulated in the V shaped bottom of the rear quarter panels.....from the rear tires all the way around to the space directly under the tail lights. I had to take a large paint stir stick (then a small one) to rake it all around towards the back so it could be sucked out with the crevice attachment. There are drain holes along bottom edge of this V shaped dead weight collection space and they will distribute quite a bit of this debris on whatever is below. so don't let that be your eyes and be sure to get drains cleared out well so they can attempt to do what they were poorly designed to do.
At first notice, I guesstimated this rust inhibiting material to be 6-7" deep, once cleared out it measured 9.5"........my 9 gallon shop-vac was empty at the start and just over half full when complete. Have a good day all
