We got about 14" today. I love the way the Av handles the snow. Pics below

I didn't think you guys in the south liked the snow! ;)

Awsome, we just got 4 or so inches just west of Detroit. Had a blast driving the snowmobile last night. I am sure that that foreman did fine, my neighbore has one and uses it for the same.

you know, we Southerners keep poking fun about how warm it is down here in all of these snow thread. But something makes this native Floridian wish for that kind of weather every once in a while. I'm sure I wouldn't like it all of the time, but I'd like to have it every now and again. And I want to try my Av out in it. Probably never will :cautious:

Wish there was some kind of "switch" that could be turned on/off for the weather LOL

:)

I thought it would, with the ammount of snow I somtimes get a quad isnt enough... Oh well I dont clean off my driveway anway its 120feet all gravel... No point untill the av get stuck.

So how much do you have up there? We have about 8 inches here. That's prob'ly a dusting to you. Your AV doesn't ever get stuck, does it?

Actually hardly any this year, at the present time theres 2feet... Its still coming too... Way to cold to make use to the skidoo, -45C with windchill. Av hasnt got stuck in my driveway (yet) I use it to pack down the snow so I can get my wifes van, and my car down the driveway without getting stuck.

I'm originally from northern Michigan (Traverse City) and I went to school in the UP, so I love the snow!.

Hows the honda 4x4 handle the plowing in that snow?

In the pics you can see how deep it is and it handled it just fine. I can control the height of the blade with the winch and that makes a huge difference. That's the Rubicon 500. I just bought a Polaris Sportsman 700 with the fuel injected twin. I'm anxious to see how that moves it.

I also have a snow thrower for the front of my John Deere 445 and that doesn't work well at all. It's a single stage blower and about once every pass of the driveway I have to clean out the chute or it clogs up.

I am jealous, on two fronts...... First, since I got my av in March of 03 we have had probably less than a foot of snow total. Second, I see you have a ZRX1200....... while my 00' ZRX1100 is sweet, I wouldn't mind an extra 100cc. Probably a bit easier to get up on one wheel in 2nd with the 1200.

The 1200 is definitely a great hooligan bike. 2nd gear wheelies are easy...just tug on the bars a bit and you're there. Excellent Stoppies too...Nothing wheelies like my TLR though. 1st, 2nd or 3rd gear throttle wheelies and a great balance point.

I hate the snow. If there's snow, it's cold. If it's cold, I can't get out to play golf. :6: I know boo, hoo, hoo.

Nice bike vtwins...how about a close-up of what's in the background! ;D
