Central Florida International Auto Show is
December 4 to December 8 in Orlando, FL and I was wondering if anyone would like to have an AV meet and attend the show? I know the SSR will be there and I'm assuming the (uncladded) AV will be a part of the show in some way.

Tony Stewart will also be signing autographs one of the days.

I was thinking Florida AV's could go, but it would be open to anyone that would like to attend.

I'll definately be there.
I know most of you S. Fl guys meet on a regular basis, but this is the first I've heard of anyone trying to get together in Central Florida.

I see more and more Av's in the parking lots @ work, amazingly enough until this week I had the only Black one. :cautious:
I'll pass the word at work, hopefully we can draw some serious #'s.

That truck looks great with the Raiders sticker in the rear window. I used to live out in CA and was in/through Oakland regularly!

Do you get any heat for having a Raiders sticker on your truck in Florida?

I wanted to bring this up. I know we have 3 weeks till the Florida meet in Central Orlando.

Car show.

How many AVrs are going so far. I know I will be there but on the 7 and 8 either one.


David, any news yet on what is the plan. Do you need help?

I have few would be going and would like to know more about the car show. Public or private?

Which day can everyone meet up?

Planetav, can you take over organizational duties for this meet? I've resigned my South Florida Coordinator responsabilities but I will still help out with this meet if needed.

How is either Saturday or Sunday sounds? I can gather a few from Jax area to come down but it has to be on a weekend?

Anyone,need your feedback on which days you would like to have GTG?

Since we're coming from all different areas we might want to meet somewhere and drive over. Maybe at Race Rock by Bigfoot since it's easy to get to and somewhat near the car show. Maybe allow like a 2 hour window to meet-up, hang out and grab lunch.

I think Saturday would be good, it's open pretty late. Maybe plan for 12-2 to meet and hang out, then head over.

This trip sounds good to me. I will be there on Saturday the 7th. MMDAVID's Idea of meeting at Race Rock between 12 and 2PM also a good idea. Has anyone taken role call on how many are going for sure?

Hey all.
I've been away for a few weeks now, and I'm just getting caught up on e-mails and reading CAFC boards.
Count me in for attending this event, unless something comes up last minute that I can't attend.

To mmdavid: Surprisingly enough, I don't get much flack for backing the Raiders around here. You'd be surprised how many other raider fans come up to me and say nice truck! Time will tell on how long that lasts (the Oak/Mia game is Dec 15).

I actually just got back from CA, I went to the Raiders/Patsies game sunday night. Talk about a mad house. I was 11 rows up in the Black Hole. It was awesome.

I'm a letter carrier, so it's hard to get off, but if I can swing something(you know, a sudden illness), I'd really like to meet other avers.

Iff I can't attend this event, I hope something comes out of it, so that Central FL can get something going.
