For the 3 people that read the EXT section?

Steel, if you have the Y91 option does the Super Nav sound any better than the AV Radio

Yes, I have the Y91. The system sounds a bit warmer with slightly more punch, but nothing I?d call significant.

I attribute the improvement to the EXT riding much quieter inside than my ?07 Av did. I doubt there?s much difference in the Bose system.

Well, I guess I?ll be banned now?the EXT is gone after just 6 months. It was a fantastic truck, but I just wasn?t getting much use out of it; I have too many vehicles. So I traded it in over the weekend for this:

2012 Corvette Z06 Centennial/Carbon 3LZ?now this is FUN!

Ok, that's kind of cool.  (y)

But you may be looking for you EXT back when the snow comes.

Nice car, but how you gonna transport that load of plywood?  Besides those things are too low to the ground.

Oh, for those of us who had no clue what a ZR06 3LZ is...

Nah, I wasn?t going to drive the EXT in the winter anyway?I have a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited for the messy months.

As for hauling duties, I have a 16? flatbed trailer that I can tow with the wife?s Denali if need be.

The EXT was a seriously nice truck, but my garage was getting crowded, so I decided to consolidate some depreciating assets and traded the EXT and my ?09 Corvette in for the new 2012 Z06 Centennial Edition Corvette. Now I have more space in my garage and the Z06 has its own room. :B:

Nice 'Vette!  That looks like the snap-together-modular-type flooring...am I right?  Any plans of going to that dura-coat or whatever it's called instead?  Just surprised you went that rout, since you obviously aren't strapped for cash with that list of cars!

The floor is RaceDeck Diamond and it was far from cheap ($4/sq ft). Professionally applied Epoxy-type coatings were in the same price range, but they couldn?t give me the design flare that the RaceDeck provided. Makes for a great party room in the summer too.  :B:

RaceDeck is an interlocking floating floor system. The link I posted above is the manufacturer website; they have a great photo gallery of RaceDeck installations?. great product, very durable and easy to maintain.  (y)

I've seen various interlocking systems...holding up well?  Any issues with it un-interlocking?  That's why I asked about gluing it down. I saved the link to the site by the way.  Might be an option for me in the future.  What about things like rolling around on the creeper to get under a vehicle?  Does it roll OK or do you kinda sink in?

You won?t ever have to worry about RaceDeck unintentionally unlocking, it has a very robust hook-in-loop snap-lock system. In fact it takes a specific procedure (outlined on their website) if you want to unlock a panel and pop it out for replacement.

No problem rolling around on a creeper if you wish. Racedeck is very solid with a light diamond plate pattern?nothing that will interfere with a creeper. I do however place a piece of 3/8? plywood underneath my floor jack when I use it. Weight concentrated in a small area like the floor jack wheels will leave an indentation.

Another tip, make sure you leave about 3/8? expansion gap around the perimeter when you install Racedeck so it doesn?t buckle when it expands. Since it is a floating floor system, it does expand and contract with temperature swings.

I researched a number of these interlocking floor systems, RaceDeck and Swisstrax (a favorite in Jay Leno?s Garage) are the top dogs?stay away from the crap they sell at Lowe?s, Sears and the like; they don?t compare in quality.

Have to say, I don't blame you!  I absolutely love my Avy but would trade it in a heartbeat for that vette!  (y)
