Has anyone tried FOREVER BLACK on their cladding? It worries me that the web address for this product is a Yahoo address but if it works as advertised I may be up to try it! I have the LPM and I think the the black caldding will look great on it. I would leave the running boards and the panal above them along with the front panal the orginal gray and do the rest in black. Maybe I need to do a photoshop of this first........................

butch... they do have a proper website as well...

JUST LET IT ALL HANG OUT & PAINT THE CLADDING BLACK . LEAVE THE PARTS YOU WANT ORIGINAL UNPAINTED, IT MAY BE BETTER FOR YOU IN THE LONG RUN. IMHO
JUST MY 2 CENTS.

Sure, painting looks good, but you lose the durability of the cladding, which is its point in the first place.

That's true DS. it just sounds like he is looking for a little change. I love the look of the painted cladding but I doubt that I will ever do it. I know the type of roads I drive all the time & it wouldn't be long before I started to see paint chips.
painted cladding is not for everyone.

That dye looks pretty interesting. It's fairly cheap, too. If I had a cladded AV I would definitely look into putting that rubberized bedliner on the cladding. Just like that one from the 2002 SEMA pics that Grey had posted in another thread. Mikesav.

I got a E-mail back from the guys at Forever Black. They say their product is not for large areas like we have on our Avalanche! Looking into the product a little more, the Forever Black comes in a small bottle with a applicator top, kind of like shoe polish!

I got a bottle with the cleaner. I'm going to try it on mine tomorrow, but only on the parts above the wheels. I don't have the cladding, but the other parts will look good if this works! I'll post a picture of a before and after. How do I do that on here anyway? ???

Ok, here are two pictures of what the Forever Black looks like on my AV's moulding
