I was at my wife's pool league (billiard type not swimming) party and the tv was on wheel of fortune. The lady actually solved the final puzzle and won an AV. It was either red or SOM (typical bar tv) and obviously a base model. However, should I be ashamed that I am offended that this person got a FREE Av and I had to pay for mine? Will she appreciate it or torture it into AV oblivion? :B: :B: :B:

You can be offended, its still a free country - BUT that doesn't change anything. She will probably sell it to pay the taxes and buy a ricer >:D

Well slap my forehead... that never even occured to me. Of course it has some downsides... he has to put up with watching all those women leaning over the table taking their shots all night... :rolleyes:

Actually in some places that really can be torture
 
I haven't watched that show in years, but was channel surfing and happend to see the Av in the background so watched. Did you notice it was only valued at a little over $32K? Had cladding but other than that had to be pretty basic. It was an '03 though.
 
I don't think it matters that it was a base model or not.... we're talkin about a free AV here. Free.... I would jump all over that one.
