From cloth to leather? Seat swapping questions

We've got a dog that sheds like craaaazy. I'd really like to do some OEM leather rather than after market covers as my wife would like heat as well.

What's involved in the swap? I'd prefer chev ones but open to escalade as well if the price is right. I see cooling is a thing? Am I set up to wire this already or will I need to retrofit anything?

More info is needed to provide a good answer to your questions. Since features change by year and model it helps to know what year and model AV you have........
No need to change the whole seat unless severely worn out, you can get seat covers and foam from companies like Katzkin or The Seat Shop. You can also add aftermarket seat heaters (more info in older threads where members have done all of the above.)
Cooling is also possible with buying the seats that come with it and you have someone rewire the seat harness if it didn't come with that.
It's all a question of time, money or ability.
