Front Amber Blinkers

Has anyone thought of or changed the ambers up front?
I love the looks of the Av but think the huge blinkers up front look a little out of place. I've seen a few people saying they were going to put ambers in the DRL space. What kind of bulb would you use to get a nice bright amber glow during the day?

The replacement bulb is Sylvania 3157/4157 NALL - 20 minute job if you have small strong hands. Should be available at any auto store , though some member have found it hard to find - must be all the 00-02 Chevy truck owners switching theirs out.

The above applies to the DRL's - legally you probably want to leave the park/running lights alone.
