Front Bumper Cladding Replacement

Hey ya'll. Just bought a pristine 2004 Avalanche less than a week ago and I am sad to say that today I slid on an icy road and hit roadside marker. The front cladding bumper got cracked pretty bad but luckily that was the extent of the damage. Heartbreaker, but life goes on. Anyways I was wondering if the '04 had two options for the cladding? I just bought this one https://www.carparts.com/details/Chevrolet/Avalanche_1500/Replacement/Bumper_Cover/2004/Base/C010311Q.html but this looks a little too light. Thanks for the help.

2002 models have a light gray cladding material. 2003 and newer are a darker gray (almost graphite in color).

The photos may be of the other color, or may be the way the light strikes the bumper in the photo. You might search for a 2002 Avalanche on the site and see if it's the same part number.

Thank you! It's a different part number. I can't imagine why they would make it in a different color when it only came in one color option brand new.

My guess is they only have a picture of the 2002 cladding and are using it in the 2004 listing.

I think your're right they sent me a picture of the bumper in the warehouse and it looks good. Fingers crossed.
