I just picked up my 2500 4x4 and already the driver's side headrest will not hold the angle I adjust it to. With just a little pressure, it snaps back to the orginal position. Has anyone else had this problem? Secondly, my fan blower motor inside the cab has started a low growl with the A/C is switched to Recirulation. Has this been a problem for anyone? And lastly, it looks like the seal where the input shaft going to the front transfer case is leaking. The vehicle only has 1700 miles. Has that been a problem for anyone? Thanks in advance for your advice.

I have a 2500 also...I have not experienced any of the problems you noted...Actually I have not had ANY problems other than difficulty to fuel.. Minor problem.
Your dealer should be able to correct with out much difficulty.

The headrests click into 3 predetermined positions. To return it to the original position, you need to pull it all the way down to release and it will go back. It is not designed to do an infinite number of positions like some others. Are you sure this is not the case?

Three times now I have been trying to get my wallet out of my pocket and have pressed my head against my head rest kinda hard and have had it pop loose and go to the straight upright position. Scared the h*** out of me every time too!!!

That is what started mine, Just_Bruce. Keep that up and it will not hold the position with the slightest head pressure. Now when I hit a bump, it snaps back to "neutral." Going to the dealership today to have it looked at and the transfer case leak too.

I'm sure they will fix it. Let us know about the differential too. Good Luck.

The first time I leaned back slightly on my headrest (you guessed it, to get my wallet) It snapped back too.. ?Man, did it scare me!!! :9:

I took it in last night to have some other things done too, I told them to replace the headrest..

I guess someone else started the damage.. now I know to look out for it with my new one!!

I didn't even know the headrest did that...

I DID know it folds forward a bit, but I couldn't figure out why.. I don't think mine stays in any positions besides upright.. I'll have to check it out later.
