How big are the front speakers?

I blew out my front drivers side speaker. I am better off just picking up a nice set of speakers off eBay then going to the dealership and picking up another stock one right?

What should I look to spend on eBay or anywhere that takes paypal on two somewhat nice speakers? Should I just replace the back two while I am at it?

Ave is a 2002

I plan on getting a whole new system soon, but I'd figure I'd put in some speakers to start out...

I see some speakers going for $150 a piece... that seems pretty excessive.. How much should I spend? What models should I look at?

Within the next month or two I plan on getting an amp and some subs. Most likely two 10's under the rear seats

I have an 02 and 6.5's will work.
Put a nice set of components or 2-way's up front and some coaxials in back (if you want). I'm think of putting a 6.5 midbass driver in the rear.

Alpine, Boston Acoustics, MB Quart are very good. My personal favorites that I have had for 2 weeks now are Soundstream Tarantulas. Infinite Car Audio is an Authorized Sounstream dealer and has great prices on the Tarantulas ($75). These babies will handle 150 watts RMS. Infinity has some reasonably good speakers for the price but some peolpe are having problems with them blowing. I like Kicker but have not heard any of the new components and co-ax's.

I run 6.5" Alpine components up front and 6.5" coaxials in the rear, also Alpine. They are powered by a IVA-D900 HU and MRF-F340 Amp and the sound is unreal. Very pleased with the setup. Can't wait to get my 10's in behind the seat ;D
