That has to help a lot with cutting down on the interior temperature.

Was that custom made or did you buy it? I want something custom. I like yours but would never copy anothers idea.
friend that i know owns tint show and i use to help him out alot when i lived there. i can tint side windows and all, but for difficult custom jobs i go to him, got there and he had it cut for me, five minutes later it was on, hour later and bout 8 beers later i left. guy does A+ work. not only i think it looks great (got many compliments from local people about where to get one), but it does help keep everything else darker. (also have 5% limo all the way around). but main reason i love it, is on my way to work every morning, damn sun is right in my eyes right where strip wasnt! but not anymore! works like it should, looks great, and didnt cost me anything, talk about a great mod!

no website, name is bill robinson, his place is Cool Concepts in laplace, LA. I have his number and have given it out to members. Just dont want to post it here. email or pm me and i'll be glad to give it to you. As for pre-cut, when i got there, mine was cut out already for me. So i'm pretty sure he could ship it, but you'll have to talk to him for that. He put mine on in no longer than 5-6 min. Think he normally charges $30-35 depending on detail of design, I got mine for lil less than that. Cheap mod and one of the most "individual" ones you'll get out there, since they are done by hand, no two are alike, but they do look similar. anymore info, just ask!

One of the guys at work has a huge AVALANCHE strip on his windshield. Suprised me, cause he's had his Av for only a few weeks, and I have yet to tag him. Of course he bought his based on me saying how awesome of a vehicle it was...

Les Les, I know what your talking about with putting avalanche over it, i considered it. but he doesnt put stickers or decals over it anymore. CPU program desings whatever you want, in the font that you want, and its cut into the tint as well. He showed me the back window of his show truck with the companies dcal on it. Its chrome/blue and has a scrip look to it and best thing, is that its from the inside and he warranties it for life. I would reccomend anyone within their driving distance, to call him and talk to him, great guy.
I was considering maybe a flame design. I would take off the tint I have on there now and replace it with the flames. The "Avalanche" is not comming off. That is stuck on the outside of the window, where the tint is on the inside. But you know that
I wish I knew how to tint. A couple of weeks ago I called the shop that had tinted 5 vehicles for me to get a price to tint the windsheild on my boat. They told me it would be around $130-$140
That is more than any one of the vehicles I had tinted. Crazyness!

Crazyness!Les yeah, i hear ya, Bill has a big bay boat and he has windshields on his tinted, same as i mentioned about the logos on his truck, except he has flames all over his boats windshield with different tints of darkness. its almost impossible to see through it, but when you are looking out of it, its like there was nothing on it. pretty cool. would be nice if you could bring AV and tow boat there and get it all done together for like $70! (ah, how nice it would be to live in a perfect world! )

When i got my windows tinted i was going to get the strip but the guy asked if i had electronics in my rear view mirror and i do so he didn't do it. Does your tint mess up the electronics?
