Upon returning from a 4 day trip to Texas, noticed the AV had a nice layer of frost on all the inner glass! We know it is cold in Chicago but this is wierd. ??? ??? Thinking about this a bit, the Beast was covered w/snow when we left, it warmed up quite a bit melting everything, then got real cold again. Even the floor mats had a nice coat of condensation on them. All carpeting was dry, the bed was dry too. Picked up the bedliner, just the typical dampness. Anyhow, pulled the liner and dried everything, no problems since! Guess the numerous days with no ventilation at all will cause this.........Hmmmmmmm

Maybe it is the darn humidity you got in the cab from down here. Fill the cab with that thick Texas air and run recirc all the way home and you got Texas air all the way back home (y) Just a thought :2:

Same way to and from TX and CO this past week. I went from in the 40's in TX to -11 in CO. Frost on the inside and the inside/outside of the inst. pannel plastic thingy.

Yea, I get this if I let my AV set outside after getting the floor mats wet with snow. I live in Indiana and we have had our share of it this winter!

Check the carpet on the rear seat pass side close to the midgate
If the midgate is leaking it would allow dampness from the carpet to condensate on the inside windows then freeze when it gets cold
the same holds true if water is on the floor mats

This was the first thing I checked for, totally dry. I guess the whole point of this is that it seems the configuration of the Av allows for a high level of humidity in the cabin, when we do not pull the bed mats and dry them out.
