Fuel Pump Replacement

Who has replaced theirs? Main pump- and which brand did you use.

My main tank leaks when I put over3/4 tank of fuel.

I haven't replaced mine, but I do carry a spare AC Delco in the AV at all time just in case I'm a couple of hundred miles from home when the original one goes.

Sounds like the gasket is leaking and you should replace the pump anyway if you have high mileage (> 90K or so) just as a preventative maintenance issue. DO NOT USE A NAPA PUMP THEY ARE UNRELIABLE JUNK. AC Delco seems to give the best performance over time. Other brands - you just don't  know WHAT you are getting - some cheap knockoff or what. You don't want to keep changing out pumps.

Had mine replaced last year in August. The guy that I had do mine got the "robust" one from rock auto. 300+ for the pump. Helps work better with the ethanol in fuel nowadays
