Hey i've done a few searches and can't seem to find it again.  But a few years back i saw where someone made a sub box for 8's or one 10 in sub, and still had full fuction of the midgate.  Is there anyone that would know if I could buy one, or build one?  I'm trying to think that the subs flipped up along the back.  I use my midgate alot and don't want to loose any fuction at all.  I would appreciate any info guys, Thank you.

is this the one you're talking about?

That's it. Thanks loggie,  It was the jeff d sub box.  Man Thank you.  I'm not really good at using the search engine.  Again thank you and this forum is awesome.  Don't know what I would do without it.

He guys. This is the one I have my eye set on. It requires the midgate be redesigned, but since I still have the midgate from my totaled "03" I can afford to cut on it. Here is a pic.

I love the look of this one; very clean. I can't tell though if that is fabric or as the entire middle section? If it is plastic, where did you find this? Seems like it would cost a lot for something that nice. Interested to know.

From what I can tell you can't put in a sub and have a full function midgate.  If you put it under the seats, the seats won't fold down all the way.  If you put it in the midgate, when you fold it down the box will be in the way...not full function.

I have one that goes where the rear glass storage is.  I have to take the box out when I want to use the midgate, but I have full use of my rear seats folding down with the box in.  That was more important to me.  But I haven't found a way to put a sub it without loosing something.  Unless maybe you could glass a box and attach it to the underside of the passenger rear seat.  Still not sure that wouldn't take away some of the midgate function.

Yes, totally flat.  I put my seats down about 10X more than I use the midgate so this was the compromise I made.

From the look of the pics. I have, it is plastic and painted. If I remember right I found this one on this site back a few years ago. When I called the place that made it, the guy was gone. I am planning on spending a lot of time working on mine this time. It may be a while before I can even get around to it, but I want it to be show quality.
