Funk Master Flex Car Show

The Funk Master Flex Car Show is in town here in Somerset, NJ. It's a once a year show featuring some well known peoples tricked out rides.

I was considering going but didn't want to spend the $40 admission fee. Ended up forgetting about it and was headed to the store today and drove right by it. Took about an hour to get through the 1 mile road that runs by it.

But all was not lost. I got to see a ton of sweet cars and trucks. One of the most notable was a Cadillac Escalade EXT with 30" wheels. There was also a cool Cadillac Escalade (Tahoe model whatever it's called) with about 28" spinners.

Most wasted money was someone that put about 16" spinners on an MPV. Why would you waste that kinda money on a vehicle like that? Oh well.

It was cool... I didn't get any pictures but there will be plenty of pictures on a few sites once it's over.

Spike TV (which I think use to be TNN) is running a Funkmaster Flex program tonight at 7:30 PM (on the West Coast). Best I can figure, Funkmaster Flex is a rapper or rap DJ. According to the TV listing, the show is about rap (won?t call it music, but to each his own), celebrities and their custom vehicles. I?m not much into rap, but the custom cars might be interesting.....might pick up a new mod idea or two

I was wrong about the Funkmaster Flex show. The custom cars weren't interesting (what little there were of them), nor was it good for mod ideas. I won't waste my time with it again next week.
