All,
2005 Chevy Av Z71
Has factory 7 plug trailer connector.
I have a surge brake trailer.
Thinking that the 'electric brake' wire overrides my surge brakes from locking when backing up.
Where is the fuse for this?
(Easier question - where are all the fuses that would be in play for the trailer plug / wires?)
Dropped the boat in a little far this weekend w/ the trailer plug in. thinking it may have blown the fuse - because I can no longer back up my trailer w/o the surge brakes locking (no manual override on this trailer either).
(Oddly, trailer & truck lights, turn signals, backup lights still work)
The owners manual mentions something about Trailer fuse in the center instrument panel fuse box - but I cannot find this center instrument panel box location? (underneath instrument panel - ie: do I have to take apart the dash? - Not seeing anything upwards of the floorboard?)
I checked the 15s in the interior side and under hood locations - but those were good.
Any help / direction appreciated.
Thanks
Jason
