What garage flooring do you have?
Love it hate it?

Pros/Cons?

I am thinking of placing some sort of floor down for the attached 2 car garage.
Purpose is to help define actual parking spot and how far side to side and front to back to be.
Protect concrete for long term as it is in great shape now - no stains but a fe spots of spalling

Big garage for these parts 24' x 24' with Two 1ft wide doors.
My Un-attached garage has painted floors but I think previous owner CHEAPED out as easily scratched and peeling in spots.

So I am thinking the TILES and do the entire garage floor - Specific garage tiles or maybe home cheapo peel and stick vinyl

OR a parking roll I see them 7.5'x17' - fear they will never lay flat and edges always will curl.

So what ya got?
PICS?

Thanks!

I have had the Racedeck tiles on my garage floor for many years and have been very happy with them, no problems what so ever and virtually no replacement or repairs so far, just sweep the floor off once and awhile. They have held up well.
FYI checking their website they are having a Black Friday sale with 25% off now.

Here is a shot of my floor:

I'm a fan of epoxy coatings. Just don't use the stuff from the big box stores. Those have very thin mil and do not hold up. Spend the extra money and use Garage guys or Epoxy Coat. I have a detached garage I use as a wood shop and did concrete stain, that works good too.

no one used a parking pad thingy?

You could make a parking pad using the Race Deck tiles since you buy it by the square and can get it in any size, various colors and some even have drainage holes. It may not be quite as cushy as a rubber mat but it will hold up well to abuse and be more comfortable on the feet compared to epoxied bare concrete. It also isn't slippery when wet and doesn't seem to grow mold if damp.

I have epoxy flooring, love it a ton, and very durable. Looks stunning in my opinion!

Had the trac tiles in my old home, they were ok, but I was never really satisfied with the look of them. Epoxy'd the new garage and I would definitely do it again.

Practically bullet proof and everything wipes up easily from it. If you can, do the Epoxy you won't regret it.

what about peel and stick vinyl?

Black and white checker?

or would the prep work just suck?

That looks nice! Did you do it yourself?

Nope, one of my customers sons was starting his own company and waited to break away from the family busy, so he gave me a deal on the floor since I had it done before we even moved in it was totally bare and clean so there wasn't anything to repair.
